P: Canon tethering stopped working after updating to Lightroom Classic v15.4

Installed this and my tethered camera setup no longer works. It appears to work as before, but no images are transferred. Canon R1, Windows 11. Anyone else having tethering issues?

Yes. I get a “Full” message after shooting 13 frames on my Canon EOS 5DS with Lightroom 15.4.1 tethered. I can fix it temporarily by shooting one frame from the tethered control bar on the screen, but the problem recurs after shooting 13 more frames on the camera. Happens EVERY time after exactly 13 frames. Neither the camera card nor my computer hard drive are anywhere near full.

This version was billed as “Improved tethering for Canon Cameras” ???

I’m having the same problem with the PC FULL error with both my Canon bodies 1DX Mark 1 & Mark 2. Tethering with the Canon utility works fine. I just rolled Lightroom classic to the previous version and everything works again. I’m going to stick with this version for a while.

on canon r6mii after the update i now receive a PC Full error on the camera when shooting tethered. Have never had this happen before

I tried with the SKD protocole and doesn't work. (canon R6M3 user)

SKD option solves the issue with my older EOS R camera
But with brand new R6Miii it makes no difference
When tethered, no photos are reaching Lightroom whatever I do

I have issues with my new canon r6m3 - after the latest update it doesn't work. I’m already exhausted….

UPDATE: after ticking the box “Use Canon SDK for Tethering” in the general preferences, tethering with Canon Powershot V1 is working again.

Just tried Canon eos R6 Mark III and it is not working. I will try with Canon SDK…..

Tethering R6 Mark iii (listed as supported from this update) not working in Lightroom Classic 15.4.1 for Mac

Lightroom sees the camera correctly
It fires the shutter
But no photo arrives in Lightroom

The shutter then won’t fire remotely any more
It will still operate using the shutter button on the camera
But still no images reach lightroom

NB: I Have tried with and without “Canon SDK” option in the preferences General menu
Still no success
