After updating LR today from the Cloud app on my PC it now fails with an error every time I open it. I have tried updating graphic card drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled LR itself but the problem persists. Was working fine yesterday. It is now unusable as the error occurs on starting up the software. Have sent crash reports via the error popup. Urgent help requested!

I have also a crash issue after updating from 11.2 to 11.3. Crash report is submitted twice. When opening the catalog file, the app closed without any notice. I did several Optimizing, but same result. So I decided to roll back, and had to stop the CR LogTransport in Task manager. When LrC 11.2 was reinstalled, the catalog file opened normally.
I did not have the same issue on my MacBook Pro with Monterey.

Issue: LrC crashes immediately on start-up after upgrading from 11.2 to 11.3

LrC V.11.3

Downgrade to 11.2 resolves the problem immediately

Setting status to Investigating

While the team evaluates the crash and advises on a workaround, it is recommended that, if you encounter this crash scenario, you revert to 11.2 via the Adobe Creative Cloud Application.

In the meanwhile, make sure your email used on this forum is the email you are using when submitting the Crash Report.

Thanks for your patience.

This morning Lightroom Classic stopped working - I immediately get an error when I try to launch it. After trying a few times with the same result, I received a link from Adobe to a "solution". The solution was to update my Nvidia drivers & then turn off the "Use Graphics Processor" option. I updated my drivers to the latest version (30.0.15.1215), but Lightroom Classic still errors out when I try to launch it. There's no way I can change the "Use Graphics Processor" option, because I can't get into Lightroom to do that.

I'm running Windows 10 (64bit) & am using a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card.

Help!

I've found your crash reports in the system. Thank you for submitting them to us. I've forwarded your information to the Classic Developers for review.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and found no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?
