P: Crashing During Sync

Lightroom 7.2 is crashing when syncing.  I have to stop syncing (it has about 9,000 synced images with 2,000 pending) to avoid crashing.  I deleted my entire syncd library and have been rebuilding it in batches.  The problem was there before 7.2 upgrade today but still it happens.  There are no sync errors.  It is very frustrating.  Please help.

Hi Thomas,

what is email id you specified while submitting the crash report? It would help us trim down to your reports. If it is due to corrupted files as reported by other users it would help in narrowing it down.

Thanks

Hi again,

I really hope there will soon be a solution for this problem.

Have tried yesterday again to switch the sync back on and when I did actyually LT stayed up for a couple of minues and was actually syncing but then it crashed again, anyway this was the longest time without crashing I had since this problem appeared.

After that when restarting LR it was again as before, crashing just after 10sec or so every time so had to switch the sync of again.

Crash reports were sent in and I am really hoping for help.

Regards,
Thomas

In case someone has found a solution for this problem could you please let me know.

I have no movies in my collections and my LR is crashing every time I open it when the sync is activated.

It seems I have sort of the same problem with the latests LR version, have already sent in several crash reports. Has anyone found a solution for this?

The problem appeared first when I activated the sync of one rather bigh collection with about 2000 pictures since then LR crashes aber 10sec after starting it every time it starts. The only possibility to keep it running is to switch of sync completely.

This is a really big problem for me, I hope someone can help.

Regards,
Tom

Hi Jeffery,
Are you able to comment on this problem.  I have removed lrdata and resyncd but still stops and crashes.  I cannot see what is causing this.  I have deleted the entire dataset in the cloud and rebuilt but it still crashes.  Also deleted images in the upload queue.  all to no avail.
Can you please advise about possible solutions.  It is very frustrating.
Thank you
Alan
