P: Edit/Sync Photo changes the Capture Time.

I use Lightroom for culling through wedding photos, and as of yesterday's update, any time I increase or decrease the rating of an image (or apply any other kind of edit) it will add 4 hours to the capture time, therefore sending that photo to a random place later in the collection, only for me to find it again as I'm moving through. In fact, it just happened twice, as I edited a photo that had already been changed, and it added 4 more. What in the world??? This could prove to be exceptionally annoying.

Photos are syncing.

Also confirming 14.1.1 fixes this for me. Synced and edited a bunch of photos and their capture dates haven't changed. Thanks!

Not only did they fix the issue, but it also put the disrupted pictures back where they belong.  I want to thank Adobe for fixing this problem so quickly!

Greetings all,

A new update for Adobe Photography Products has been released.  The LrC 14.1.1 update contains an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Same issue for me.  Every photo I imported Dec 11th and 12th keeps changing dates. These are images from my iPhone (DNG and HEIC), using the "Add from device" feature in the LR app, and also Canon raw images, imported from SD card and added to a sync'd album in LR Classic.  I sat there Thursday evening editing, and watching them constantly shift order on the screen, wondering what was going on.  Then I noticed in the app, where they had synced, that I started having photos in January 2025.  I'm a time lord! Anyway, I left it for a while that night and they kept changing, the date changing every few minutes, moving all the way through February into March, until I shut down LR Classic.  I came back tonight, selected all of them in the All Synced Photographs collection and hit "Revert Capture Time To Original" under the Metadata menu, and they went back. But then they keep changing again and again if I have sync enabled.  Looks like I'm not alone.

Same issue here, just started with 14.1, new batch of photos, all was fine until photos started syncing.  Worse for me is that I have also have the photos in several plugins that I publish with.  Once I started publishing them I noticed that a publish in one group touched a need to republish in the other group, then I would republish and it appears the dates would get changed and then sync and round and round we go. I turned off syncing until this gets sorted out.  Most of the incorrect dates have been future dated.  Some of them even into next year for some reason.  So, off to reset all of my dates again in my latest batches, re-publish them and then wait for LR to fix this before I can start syncing again....

Following this as I'm having the same issue.  As soon as a photo is synced from Lightroom Classic to LrM, the time jumps by 4 hours.  I'm guessing this a bug that accidentally got programmed into the latest version.  Hopefully a new update will fix it.
