P: Print Module, Page Set Up Crashes Lightroom Classic V 12.0.1

Good day. I ran across this issue yesterday, 6 Nov, and I'm not sure who (Adobe, Apple, Epson) is responsible for t/s and fix- it is frustrating. Simple to explain - fixing is another issure entirely.

I'm using a 16" 2019, Intel MacBook Pro w/32Gb Ram. I upgraded to MacOS Ventura and Lightroom Classic v12.0.1.  Going into Print Module and trying to select Page Set Up crashes Lightroom. I tried restarting the computer, resetting LR Preferences and turning off GPU Acceleration to no avail.

Do the LR Print Module, Page Set Up and Printer Settings, pull their input from the printer manufacturer drivers? Again, I'm not sure who is responsible or even how to go about troubleshooting/fixing. Any help/advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have two projects for customers in work - I should have known better than to upgrade this soon.

I just update the OS to Ventura 13.2. Same crash when pushing the button "PageSetup" ("Seite einrichten" in German). Using Canon Porgraph 1000. Printing in Photshop (24.11) works normally.

I have the same problem

I just (with some trepidation) updated my Ventura to 13.2.  Prior to the update everything was working correctly by using my old catalog.  Happily (so far) post update all continues to function correctly in the print module.

Hurrah, my LR crashes seems to be solved by updating to the newest Ventura.

Reinstalling printer seems to have fixed it now. I am using Canon Pro 100S. 👻 I hope it stays like that.

After updating to Ventura 13.2, even the Lightroom Templates do not work any more. Printing from Lightroom Classic is now totally crippled. 🤮

I've just had an interesting session with printing and the page setup. I will just copy & paste what I sent to Adobe (and if I have my usual typos I apologize!).

Okay … I printed some things and I’ll fill you in on how it went:

1) Printed using a Lightroom template. Centering was off, despite appearing correct on the screen. Clicked on Page Setup and had no crash.

2) Printed another image using the same Lightroom template. Centering was off, despite appearing correct on the screen. Clicked on Page Setup and had no crash.

3) Printed #2 image using my card template. The centering was off: more margin on left, barely any on right. Clicked on Page Setup and had no problem.

4) Repeated #2. Exact same issues with margins, but no crash

5) Printed new image using LR template. Margins off, no crash

6) Printed #5 image using my template. Margins off, no crash.

5) Printed #5 image using different LR template. Clicked on Page Setup. CRASHED

So the crashing is sporadic, as you can see. The margins not being correct is a constant.

I’m including an image (please excuse the shadows and poor shot), to show the margin issue. I can assure you that when I printed my (100!) Christmas cards in early December they were perfectly centered!

Using iMac w Ventura 13.1
Epson Printer P900 (but have had same issues with P800) with drivers up to date
Lightroom Classic 12.1 Release

Selecting a standard Adobe LR template did the trick for me too!

Thanks for posting that. It works for me too. (Only lightroom classic templates do the job. My own templates, though, crash the app.) At least Adobe might have understood now what is causing the problem. 👻

UNBELIEVABLE!!  I heard from Adobe requesting I launch an old, crashing, catalog and select a template, then hit the setup button.  I tried several previously crashing catalogs and now they all work!  I haven't touched Mac OS preferences or updated the latest Ventura 13 so have no clue why I should have apparent resolution of this problem!
