P: Print Module, Page Set Up Crashes Lightroom Classic V 12.0.1

Good day. I ran across this issue yesterday, 6 Nov, and I'm not sure who (Adobe, Apple, Epson) is responsible for t/s and fix- it is frustrating. Simple to explain - fixing is another issure entirely.

I'm using a 16" 2019, Intel MacBook Pro w/32Gb Ram. I upgraded to MacOS Ventura and Lightroom Classic v12.0.1.  Going into Print Module and trying to select Page Set Up crashes Lightroom. I tried restarting the computer, resetting LR Preferences and turning off GPU Acceleration to no avail.

Do the LR Print Module, Page Set Up and Printer Settings, pull their input from the printer manufacturer drivers? Again, I'm not sure who is responsible or even how to go about troubleshooting/fixing. Any help/advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have two projects for customers in work - I should have known better than to upgrade this soon.

What its telling is this is a rare bug that affects only a few on different OSs and print drivers. Or doesn't affect others. The most difficult bugs to find and fix!

It is a pretty embarrasing program when folks can't use Lightroom to print their images!  I have been fortunate that everything has continued to work normally after using an old catalog.  I even was able to update to ventura 2 with no Lightroom problems.  It's too bad Adobe can't figure out and post what the problem is.  Their silence and lack of concern are telling.

I had this on my IMAC 2017 running Ventura with a canon pro-10s, also Canon Print studio pro does not work since Ventura. I recently updated to a Mac Studio which thankfully is loaded with Monteray, leaving this on there until this issue is resolved as everything is currently working.

I've sent 6 or so crash reports to Adobe for this problem on my Mac Mini M1 using Vetura 13.1.  My work around has been to soft proof it and export the file as a jpg then use ON1 2022 Raw to print it - works good but is a pain to do.

I was able to create user defined print templates and save them.  When I installed the print driver, I also installed the Canon IJ Network Tool Ver.4.7.5 (Mac),  and use the IJ version of the printer.

yes, I just saved a user defined preset with the aktual settings, and I can activate or deactivate them by changing to another preset. But you can't change the page setting for the user defined presets without using the button...

I'll try to reinstall my printer (canon imageprograph 1000), but that needs a little much time an actually I'm to busy for that.

The printer settings say that the drivers are up to date!

Have you been able to save user defined presets?

After installing Ventura 13.2, I deleted the printer, and then reinstalled the latest drivers. I am using a Canon Pro-100 on a 2019  iMac with 40GB memory.  This seemed to do the trick, it's working now.

Did you delete the printer and did you install the latest driver? This fixed it for me after updating to Ventura 13.2.
