P: Right side panel resize screws up slider tracking

Lightroom: When I resize my right panel, the controls get screwed up in Develop. Where I click no longer lines up with what moves in the sliders. It has become out of alignment.

Yes, exactly what some of us have posted. Still no fix, though.

I thought the standard sensitivity of the sliders is too hight. With just pixels of movement of a slider I can apply pretty big effects.

In order to have more precise control, I tried to resize the width of the adjustments panel on the right. This would make the sliders longer, so allow for more control.

But when I do so I noticed that the sliders do not work properly anymore. When you click them they jump to extremes.

I'm running Lightroom latest version on OSX latest version.

In the Lightroom develop module, sliders jump about when I try to click on them.
This happens after I re-size the window by dragging to the left in order to make the sliders longer. Closing and re-opening LR reduces the problem, but there is still a slight (~0.05) change in the value when the slider is clicked on. More disturbing, resizing the right panel brings the problem back, with very large jumps. For example, my Exposure value changed +5 units when I clicked on the slider after widening the panel.

The magnitude of the jump seems to be related to the relative size of the right-hand area (if adjusted by the user). Restarting the program after adjusting the size of that area helps, but there is still a jump when clicking on the slider control button. In my case, it happens with both an Apple Magic Mouse (wireless, Bluetooth), and a Wacom tablet (wired, USB connection).

Troubleshooting the hardware did not work:
Disconnected the Wacom tablet, used the Bluetooth mouse: Slider jumps.
Turned off the Bluetooth mouse, used the Wacom tablet: Slider jumps.
Turned Bluetooth off on the computer, used the Wacom tablet: Slider jumps.
With Bluetooth off, disconnected the Wacom tablet, plugged in a USB mouse: Slider jumps!

LR 5.7 from CC
27" (late 2012) iMac running Yosemite
Problem happens with either Apple Magic Mouse or Wacom Intuos tablet (with the latest driver, 6.3.10w2), and with a generic USB mouse.
Deleting the Preferences file did not solve the problem.

When resizing develop toolbar in develop mode the sliders respond as if the it wasn't resized, so they jump around and necessitate a program restart before the tool slider work correctly again. First noticed on LR 5.0.

I can see it with my Mac Book Pro (Retina) with the trackpad. We'll investigate.

Sorry, it is not all of them, but just exposure and contrast. I am using 27" iMac.

Which Mouse you are using? I cannot duplicate on my MBPr.

I can make the Exposure Slider misbehave on a MBA with a 27 External Monitor but all the other sliders are ok.

Is it only the Exposure slider?
