P: Slideshow gives error:

I have a problem I am using Lightroom 3.5 and started to have a problem with the slideshow component.
I get the following error:
Log (3)
Cannot create the encoder instance, h264OutVideoNew failed.
error: h264OutVideoChkSettings - no library function available
error: No encoder library could be found!

Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Alfred, can you try upgrading to Lightroom 3.6 (available now on adobe.com, or just check for updates in Lightroom's Help menu)?

    Just tried it again and this is the new error message:
    Log (3)
    Cannot create the encoder instance, h264OutVideoNew failed.

    error: No encoder library could be found!
    Any thoughts!

    Hi Becky,
    I have not been back because the frustration with this program is building.
    Let's see will try a last time;
    OS is correct
    The computer and system were working fine a week before the error, so I don't think is hardware.
    I tried all of the above, and no luck!!!!!!

    Alfred, how old is your Mac? Is it possible your Mac isn't 64-bit capable?

    Congrats to all of you! I am having a problem when I open the Info screen it does not show the 32 bit mode under the general area.
