P: Subject Mask from previous versions are requesting an update

After updating Lightroom Classic to v14 and converted my database, all the edited photos that had a "Subject Mask" applied now have an empty mask with a warning and exclamation mark (!).

If I let Lightroom correct the mask pushing the exclamation mark on a single photo, it seems the correct subject is selected, keeping the edits. If I do the same with multiple photos together it appears teh usual form that tells that the AI masks are recalculated, but at the end all the masks are still empty with warnings.

Are you guys real? You charge through the nose for your buggy softwares and then make users go through complicated steps. Get your act in place before users dump Adobe for better and cheaper options..

Just in case it could be useful for someone, after I found the problem with all my AI Mask I reinstalled the latest LrC 13.x, and I restored the original 13.x catalog from a previous backup. At this time all the mask was working again.

Then I've istalled LrC 14.0.1 (skipping completely the 14.0).

At the first start of 14.0.1 it found my 13.x catalog, it made a backup and then converted to the new format.

Now all the AI mask was working fine, no need to manually update anything.

Did you jump over 14.0 or had you already installed that one?

LrC updated automatically to 14.01 version on my computer.

It didn't change anything to the problem.

ADOBE NEEDS TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM, ONCE AND FOR ALL.

@goodomenphoto LrC never showed wich Masks are affected in the Correction.

E.g.

Where is/are the Mask(s) that need(s) to be updated within these Corrections? (See screenshot)

It is impossible to tell without opening each Correction one by one.

I reported this problem in April 2023
This is the Ui I proposed.

One can immediately find the Correction with mask(s) in need of update.

So thanks to folks calling this out (and my natural hesitance to immediately upgrade) I'm still on the previous version.  Does 14.0.1 fix everything or are there still some issues?

You might have to click the dropdown action within the adjustment. EX: Red dot appears but you only have one Mask titled "Luminosity Range", but within that you also selected a subject. Click on the "subject" mask and it should say update. This Lightroom update really screwed over so many people. This is the worst bug I've encountered in my 20 years of using this product. Lightroom getting more and more buggy.

I updated to the 14.1 and now when I update the AI masks,  some of them work, others, though the little red dot still remains however, I am not getting the pop-up to update them, I can't figure out why there is  still a little red dot underneath the mask icon (only on some of the images)
