P: Syncing photos taken with the Android phone LR app to LR Classic desktop

I am using the LR Mobile app on my Android phone. Until recently everything was working perfectly. Since the last update to the Android app on July 10 photos I have taken with my LR app camera continue to sync to my Adobe Cloud account but they do not get synced to my desktop LR Classic as they did previously. Photos I take with the native Android Camera app do sync to both Adobe Cloud and to my desktop LR Classic.

Is anyone else having this problem and can anyone help me with a solution?

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks Rikk. I can confirm that the photos I now take from my Android phone now sync as they should do with LR Classic.

Updates to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem were released yesterday evening and contain a fix for this issue.  Please install the appropriate update and see if it solves this problem.

Thank you for your patience.

Today's 5.4 update seems to have fixed the problem.

Have the same problem, exactly as described. Totally weired that photos taken with the native camera app of my android phone gets sync'ed to LR Classic, but photos taken with LR mobile camera do not...

I'll just add my experience with the same issue in case that helps : I only get this issue with raw captures on Lr camera android.

DNG photos taken on Android with the Lr Camera synchronise with the cloud ecosystem (I can see them in the Lightroom web) but not on Lightroom Classic for desktop (the sync gets stuck at downloading forever). The issue does not appear on photos made in jpg format with the Lr Camera on Android, which synchronise perfectly with both the Lightroom ecosystem and Lr Classic.

They have responded, Phil. Note that the status of this problem report has now been tagged with "Acknowledged", which basically means that they can reproduce the problem and that a fix is probably in progress.

Bob, thanks for adding your post to this thread. For me, using the LR mobile camera app, neither a JPG nor a DNG will sync to LR classic but both are there on https://lightroom.adobe.com. If I use my native Android camera app to take a JPG it syncs to LR classic. Others have reported the same.

We are waiting for the Adobe engineers to respond to these posts.

I recently purchased a Samsung S10e mobile, and have issues syncing DNG files from LR mobile to LR classic on my desktop.

Using the LR mobile camera app, I can take JPG or DNG images.
If I take a JPG, it will sync to LR web and to LR classic.
If I take a DNG, it will sync to LR web, but not sync to LR classic.
It seems to be hung up syncing to LR classic as I can see this in LR Sync Preferences:

In this case, the missing 6 files seem to be hung up somewhere along the line.
I rebuilt the sync data, but no change.
I downgraded the version of LR classic I'm running down to 9.0, and no change.

If I use the built in camera app, I can import the JPG and DNG files to LR mobile, which will then sync properly with LR web and LR classic on my desktop.

I can generate a diagnostic report if that will help.
