P: Unable to advance to the next photo

Why no one writes about the fact that in develop mode, after any manipulation with a photo, it is impossible to go to the next photo in the feed? You go, but the photo remains the same as it was, you have to go back and only then go to the next photo. This is a global problem!!  Anyway, I did some research and I realized why many people are silent about it, because this problem occurs only when using the +\- buttons on any keyboard, even on macbook !!!!. If you use only mouse or touchpad, there is no problem with photo transition. That's why many photographers don't pay attention to it, because they don't use the keyboard. Therefore, ADOBE does not react in any way.

"Are you seriously asking that now? There are over 200 posts here"

When posts get merged into this thread, there's no indication here that's happened. I'm sure that's what happened with @aarrooss's post.

I've had that same issue with the latest version of Classic. 13.0.1. M1 Max, 32GB Ram, 4TB, OSVentura 13.4.1 and it only just started since LR Classic 13 for me. My M1 Max has been blazing for editing and moving back and forth in Develop has been routine for me up until now. So annoying.

@aarrooss  Are you seriously asking that now? There are over 200 posts here just talking about it! That's why I created this chat with a global problem, if anything, ADOBE knows about this problem, but no results yet!

Hello everyone,

I'm running the last update of lightroom 13.0.1 on an imac ventura 13.6. In develop mode when I do adjustments and hit next it returns me to the previous photo. I have to press back and forward to see the next photo. It happens randomly. When you just hit next without doing adjustments it doesn't happen.

Anyone is experiencing this?

Gracias

I'm having this same problem in Windows. It happens about 20% of the time going from photo to photo in Develop. It's so aggrivating!

I believe this bag started happening in the latest update.

"have you not yet understood that no one will respond to your problems here?"

It's very important to get accurate descriptions of the symptoms here, from as many people as possible, and Adobe does pay attention. They've marked it as a Bug, which they don't usually do for reports of issues that can't be reproduced easily by the developers, and Adobe employee Sameer K has posted a workaround that has worked for some (but far from most) of those experiencing the issue. Detailed descriptions of the misbehavior often helps persuade Adobe of the seriousness of the issue and track down its cause.

But you're right that it's unlikely a fix will appear before LR 13.1, likely due in mid-December.

Hello, when I adjust the exposure using the plus and minus keys on the keyboard, a brief text overlay appears for about a second, as you can see in the attached image, indicating the exposure change. If I press the right or left arrow key during that second to switch to the next photo, only the thumbnail in the filmstrip changes, but the main image in the editing window remains the same. The only way to continue editing is to press the right or left arrow key again to update the main image, otherwise, I cannot proceed. Alternatively, I can wait for about a second before pressing the arrow keys. In both cases, it's an intolerable and frustrating time loss that significantly hampers my workflow, which is primarily based on keyboard shortcuts.

I believe this is a bug because this behavior did not occur in the second-to-last version of Lightroom. I'm using a Mac with Monterey 12.6.8 and Lightroom Classic 13.0.1.

Thank you.

GUYS , have you not yet understood that no one will respond to your problems here? everything will be solved with the new update, whether all the same problems will be solved in the new update or not, if the problems remain DO NOT HOPE for a quick solution, we will also have to wait for another update with the hope that the problem will disappear.
Unfortunately, ADOBE doesn't work so well , that can't tell about the payment they charge for a faulty program. they know that there is no other program and we are hostages. and we will wait as long as it takes for their updates to come out on schedule and not when we need them.

@TomT60[

I'm using LR 12.5 without any bugs like the 13.01 (photo freezes after color treatment)

But I don't delete photos in the LR , I use windows 10 explorer or Acdsee to do that and on my mac I use Photomechanic.
