Lightroom 9.6 (macOS) – Watermark Editing Button Repeatedly Disappears

Dear Adobe Lightroom Team,

I am experiencing a recurring issue with the watermark editing functionality in Adobe Lightroom 9.6 (cloud-based version, not Lightroom Classic) on macOS.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

When opening the export dialog, the gear icon next to the option "Include Watermark" is missing. As a result, I cannot access the watermark editor or modify my existing watermark.

TIMELINE:

October 14, 2026:
I completely reinstalled Lightroom 9.6 because the watermark editing button had disappeared.

Immediately after reinstalling, the gear icon was visible again, and watermark editing worked normally.

October 16, 2026:
The gear icon disappeared again, making it impossible to edit the watermark.

TROUBLESHOOTING ALREADY PERFORMED:

A complete reinstallation temporarily restored the missing functionality, but the problem returned within approximately 48 hours.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

The watermark editing button should remain consistently available in the export dialog whenever watermarking is enabled.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:

The editing button disappears without any apparent reason, preventing access to the watermark editor.

REQUEST:

Please investigate this recurring issue in Lightroom 9.6 for macOS.

Since reinstalling the application only provides a temporary fix, this appears to be a persistent software or configuration problem.

I would appreciate information about a permanent solution or a reliable workaround that does not require reinstalling Lightroom repeatedly.
