Lightroom Desktop v9.4 (Mac App Store) - Masking panel keeps showing values from the previous mask or from the next to the previous mask (UI state bleeding).
Hi everyone, I am experiencing a severe UI bug in the latest Lightroom update (v9.4) from the Mac App Store on macOS.
Environment: OS: macOS 26.5.1 App Version: Lightroom v9.4 (Mac App Store build).
Issue description: The Masking panel fails to update its state when switching between different masks on the same photo. Instead of showing the actual settings of the newly selected mask, the panel continues to display the slider values from the mask I was editing previously.
Example: 1. I select Mask 1 and set Exposure to +1.0. 2. I select Mask 2 and set Exposure to -0.5. 3. I switch back to Mask 1. The UI incorrectly shows Mask 1's Exposure as -0.5 (carrying over the values from Mask 2), even though the actual photo rendering might still look correct.
Workaround & Details: The data itself is not corrupted. If I switch to a different photo and then jump back to the original image, the UI finally refreshes and displays the correct, individual values for each mask.
A clean reinstall with complete preference and cache removal did not fix this. It seems to be a bug in how the Masking panel refreshes its UI state within the same image session in v9.4.
Anyone else seeing this on macOS? Hopefully, the team can acknowledge and patch this soon.
