Lightroom Mobile: Pencil on iPad Pro 11 2018 lags and isn't precise

I'm trying to use the healing brush with the Apple Pencil 2 on my iPad Pro 11" 2018.
However, it's impossible. I can't do any precise edits, as the pencil ignores small, precise edits. Large brush sizes get registered, but small ones show a weird kind of lag. 

It works perfectly in some other apps, like fresco. It works ok (with some lag) in PS mobile. It is unusable in lightroom mobile. 

(Also, there is no pressure sensitivity. Is there supposed to be? If not, why not?
Edit: I just discovered that pressure sensitivity works fine for selective adjustments. There is no pressure sensitivity for the healing brush. I expected it to work like in Photoshop, but I guess it doesn't.)

    I had to specifically test that, as a finger doesn’t really lend itself to precise work like that and I wouldn’t have tried in any real application. You can’t even see your own stroke behind the finger so it’s hard to say, but the results seem to be points only. They do seem to get registered a bit more reliably than short pencil strokes, but I’m not sure about that.
    So, yes: It might be a more general problem with LR mobile and not pencil specific.

    To be honest here, I don't see any difference in the behavior of my finger and the Apple pencil. The finger seems to fail on very short strokes as often as the pencil. Is that your experience too?

    Hi Rikk and Gerfried,
    I see the issue as well on m iPad Pro 2.Gen. Gerfrieds video was helpful for me to test in the right way.

    Not even that small, I tried with size 11. 
    Here’s a video which hopefully illustrates my problem.
    • Short strokes either don’t get registered, or get registered as dots in Lightroom
    • Longer strokes work better, but as the videos shows, not reliably, with considerable lag at times.
    • It’s impossible to retouch small elements (such as required when retouching skin)
    • I included a comparison with the same image in photoshop. I think you can see that small strokes are registered just fine. That’s just to show that I don’t think there’s a problem with my iPad or my pencil. (It’s also completely fine in Fresco and other apps)
    I already uninstalled lightroom and re-installed to see if that would fix the issue - it didn’t. I also tried to retouch a JPEG instead of a RAW, also no change.

    Gerfried - how small are you talking about? I tested this morning with Spot Removal tools down to 7-10 range and am seeing no issues (iPad Pro 12 2017 with Apple Pencil 1).
