Lightroom Semantic Search Failing

Both a friend of mine and my Lightroom no longer seem to have working search functions. Both Semantic and Keyword searches bring back very random mixed results. Anyone else having this problem since the last update?

No matter what search term I use, I receive the same 9943 images when yesterday and days before I could enter in a calendar date (e.g. October 14) and it would show me all of the images take on that date. Is there a fix or is the application broken?

I am using Adobe LightRoom. No matter what search term I use, I receive the same 9943 images when yesterday and days before I could enter something like a calendar date (e.g., October 14) and it would display all of the images I had taken on that date back through the years. What has been broken and how can it be fixed?
