P: Download of album to local storage on iPad never completes

I have an album selected to store locally on my iPad but the download gets part of the way through and then stops. I’ve tried toggling off and on the store locally option, clearing the cache and restarting Lightroom. I’m running the latest version of Lightroom for iPad and had the same problem with the prior version. The same album downloads without problem in Lightroom for iPhone.There is sufficient storage space on the iPad.

Not fixed. I have the same issue. Sync on iPad is very unreliable and rarely finishes successfully.

Hi, Rikk,
I'm using iOS 13.6.1, Lightroom 5.4.1 6949FF/1 on a late-2019 ipad.
I just followed the steps above and the sync has again stopped (currently on image 44 out of 260).
If I open an images from the album, it then syncs that image, but only that image.

What is:

Your iOS version number?
Your installed Lightroom version number?
How many files in the Album?
Is syncing with any Desktop client involved?

Have you tried this.
  • Launch Lightroom
  • Toggle off store locally for this album
  • Close Lightroom
  • Force Quit Lightroom
  • Restart the iPad
  • Launch Lightroom
  • Go to Album
  • Verify all syncing is complete (Cloud icon)
  • Activate Store Locally option for this album?
