I tried to export my photos from Lightroom, but I keep getting message "Some images were exported with outdated AI Settings". I updated the AI Settings from Photo, and then updated the AI Settings as what instructed from the forum I saw. But still error. I tried to to it on my phone, same image, no problem at all. But this message only appears when I export it on my laptop.

  1. Version of the app : Lightroom 9.0
  2. Platform and OS version : Apple M1 Pro, Tahoe 26.1
  3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem : Exporting the photo from PC, then Error Message Appeared, then updated the AI Settings
  4. Expected result and actual result : After updating AI Settings, same error message still appears

Greetings all,

A new update for the Adobe Photography products has been released.  The June release contains an update regarding this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by pressing  [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Hi All,

The May release of Camera Raw 18.3.1 is now live and contains a fix for this issue.

For information on how to update the Camera Raw version, you can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/apps/manage-apps/creative-cloud-apps/update-creative-cloud-apps-manually.html

Thanks,

Nikunj

This happens to me too when I edite my photos, however I just export them as is anyway and my images still look the same without updating it. I think it happens if you use AI settings and then maybe tilt the image or crop it, technically I suppose the AI isn't 'updated' or 'the same' as before.

Hi @Chris31246012skao, welcome to the community!
Could you share a few more details about the issue? Does this happen with every photo or just a specific one? And what kind of AI edits are you applying to the affected photos?
As a first step, try resetting the preferences and see if that helps. You can follow the steps here:

Thanks!

Same issue as above: with a HEIC photo

1. Lightroom v9.0

2. Windows 11

3. Removed "trash" in photo using Remove / Adobe Generative AI

4. Export as jpg (large)

Tried again same photo but as a JPG and did not have the error come up. Just FYI @Chris31246012skao

Hey! Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, all of my photos in Lightroom are in JPG format.

I still haven't gotten any solution (except for deleting the initial 'remove' part and remove it manually in photoshop after exporting)
