P: Importing presets is changing the name to a random hex code

When I import a preset, for example 'Sage - Less Orange.xmp', the name changes to some random hex code like this, '088bc661003c4c49aecf8a3609059ae0' in the Lightroom app itself. The new file is also called '088bc661003c4c49aecf8a3609059ae0.xmp' which I would expect.

LR CC is up to date and I've tried restarting both Lightroom and my computer but nothing has changed. I can obviously just rename the preset in Lightroom but that's a pain when you've got quite a few.

EDIT: See example below

Updates to the Lightroom CC Ecosystem and Lightroom Classic CC were released earlier today. Please update your software and let us know if you are still experiencing this issue.

Can you email me one of the XMP presets to interrogate? If so, send to:

It's the Sage preset by Kala Rath Photography. As you can see in the video, the preset is provided in both formats, XMP and lrtemplate.

Andrew,

Who was your preset provider? Are they the previosuly used LUA .lrtemplate files or the newer style XMP files?
