P: Lightroom 7.4.1 in Sequoia beta 2: crash clicking "lens blur"

Hello,

I updated Lightroom after updating the operating system to the Sequoia macOS 15 beta 2 developer version.

Now Lightroom 7.4.1 goes into crash as soon as you click on the "blur with lens" checkbox.

Any workaround, please?

I would like to understand if it is a problem with my macbook pro M3 or a bug.

thank you!

Fixed in Beta 3.

I can't even apply any presets without LR crashing. Hoping a fix comes soon from Adobe or Apple.

Here the masking crash is random, sometimes it works if instead of clicking on the icon you press "M", sometimes even so it crashes, but if it doesn't go some options (for example "sky") work... I don't understand the logic.

Instead if I click on "Blur through the lens" it always crashes.

After entering masking any of the "create new mask" options causes the application to crash.

thank you!

Here the crash mainly concerns the mask and the "blur through the lens" function.

In addition, when exporting if you do not select a folder, the "export" button does not appear.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting this.

macOS 15.0 "Sequoia" beta 2 introduced an issue that causes Lightroom to crash when certain features are used.  This is expected to be fixed in a future macOS 15.0 beta.
