  • Go to the crop tool
  • Click ‘Guided Upright’
  • Clear auto geometry
  • Set 4 guide lines
  • Type ‘L’ to create a linear gradient

The image should no longer render correctly, with the guided upright geometry not holding

    Hi, thanks for reaching out!

I tried following the steps you shared but everything seems to be working as expected. Could you share more information along with screenshots or preferably a video that helps us understand what’s happening?

Also, please go to the Help menu in Lightroom, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

    Thanks,

    Nikunj

Here’s a recording of the bug and a photo I can reproduce it with. It seems it might only show up for some types of raw files.

Notice how when I click on the button to add the linear gradient, the preview seems to only respect three of the four guild lines.

Thanks for adding the video and the DNG with guides. I can reproduce this in my tests, and Camera Raw does not have this issue. I’ve logged this for the team for review.

    Thanks!
