P: Lightroom v.9.2 Export with Previous (CTRL/CMD+E) settings is not working

Having the same problem - the Export with previous is not working, but for me it’s working on my Dell laptop and not my dell desktop.

both updated lightroom versions

Desktop: 

Windows 11

DELL XPS 8960

Windows 11 pro

Intel Iris Ge

I’m having the same problem. I just updated today and it just randomly started not exporting with previous settings. 

The same thing is happening to me, I can export photos… but only one at a time. Unable to export with previous settings” and have to manually export each photo and rename every single export.

What troubleshooting steps have you tried already? Is updating the macOS possible for you? If yes, please do, as we can’t recreate this on the current public version of macOS v26.3.

Please share more details about your workflow and the system info from Lightroom. Go to Help > System info, copy and paste it into a text document, then upload and attach it here along with a few screenshots or a short video.

“Export with Previous...” in Lightroom no longer works. It stopped working with this newest version (9.2), on MacOS 15.7.4. I’ve used it for years, through the command-E shortcut. Now the shortcut does nothing, and selecting it in the File menu also does nothing.

Probably unrelated, but using the tab key to navigate the Info panel (to fill out the location info) also stopped working in version 9.2.

Can you send your system info, a screen recording of the issue, and a numbered list of the exact steps needed to replicate it? You can find your system info by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here.

Sorry you’re experiencing this after the update. I know that can be frustrating. To better understand what’s happening, could you please confirm a few details:

• Which device are you using (Windows, Mac, iPad, etc.)?

• What Lightroom version are you currently on?

• When you use “Export with Previous Settings”, does the export complete, or does nothing happen?

• Are the files saving to the usual folder, or are they not appearing anywhere?

• Have you recently changed your export location settings?

• Are you exporting as JPG, TIFF, or another format?

Once I have this information, I’ll be able to guide you further.

Since updating Lightroom recently, the exporting feature doe not allow for utilising the previous settings.  Whether via the keyboard or withing the screen prompts.  Have also tried creating a new template.  Nothing.  

Also, custome template for exporting resets the auto sequencing numbers.
