Since last couple of months whenever I try to edit the photos on my phone (Lightroom) It's very squareish and pixelated.

All the photos are fine but when I try to edit it goes In o this(screenshot attached)

I'm not sure what's the issue. Looking forward to the help.

Hey, @Nimbos, @Ross2511000501vd, & @Manan301899955n8n. I’ve shared this with the team for review.

Does this happen with recently imported images? Do you also use Lightroom on any other surfaces, and Lightroom Classic? Do these images appear normally after a while?

Same here.. Guess it is not a big issue for Adobe since they do not comment so much..

Big money in but probably not any money back for the one who pays their salary

    Any movement on this?

Considering we're paying hefty (and inflation-busting increasing) subscriptions - having a tool which is entirely unusable, but relied on, is unacceptable. I doubt we'll get any kind of refund!

    Google pixel on Android 17

I've started experiencing this last night immediately after upgrading to android 17 on a pixel 10 pro. Makes it unusable.

Old images that previously loaded fine now exhibit the same giant pixellation.

The image will load for a 10th of a second (I assume a preview) then turn to giant pixels once fully loaded. The images load fine off the cloud on my desktop computer and iPad.

It dosen’t heppen with the lightroom in laptop (windows & mac) it’s only happening with the mobile only. I’m using pixel 10 pro XL for reference.

It’s happening with all the images. and no it’s not an network issue as well or loading issue. I can edit images and can see the preview when I go to export and add frames from the settings, I can preview the image edited with frame. I’ll add the video shortly.

I am getting exactly the same.

Force stop and restart makes no difference.

Lightroom and phone gallery pictures act the same, so it's not a cloud/download issue.

    App now entirely unusable!

Only occurs in LR mobile (I'm android)

LR and LrC on pc are fine

Happens with old and new pictures, Lightroom or Gallery.
