P: LrMobile (Android) v7.4.1 'Share To' to Flickr incomplete

  1. Version of the app - Lightroom Mobile version 7.4.1
  2. Platform and OS version - Android 12
  3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem - Select a photo, select Share To, select Flickr, click Upload in the Flickr popup, then it returns to the photo (as it normally does i.e. I see no error message)
  4. Expected result and actual result - photo should share to Flickr. It doesn't.

I have tried Flickr support but I just get told to send in screenshots of the problem and there are no error messages or anything out of the ordinary. So there is no support from Flickr. I click upload and it just doesn't what it normally does which is return to the photo.

I have tried on both an LG G7 phone and a Samsung Tab S7 Plus.

Please help.

Many thanks.

p.s. If this isn't fixable is there an alternative to Flickr anyone could recommend? I have Instagram, but only use occasionally as it destroys the quality imo. Lightroom on Android doesn't upload full size photos (like it does in iOS), so I should probably look to move anyway. The only other thing I have is Adobe Portfolio, but that is a stand alone site and lacks the social aspect of Flickr, like adding pics to groups, plus giving and receiving likes and comments. Maybe the logical choice is to try Behance? But that seems to be more for grapgic designers, I do street, travel and general photography. Thanks.

Hi there,

We've released an update for Lightroom v7.5.1 & since the update, the issue seems to be fixed on my devices.

Could you please update & confirm if the issue persists?

In my email it said "The issue has been found reproducible. It will be fixed in future releases." but I see the message here is different. Does that mean you edited your post after when you realised it wouldn't be fixed in the next update?

It won't let me upvote it, must be because I wrote it.
