P: (macOS & Win) LrD v9.4 Text watermark in Export is no longer working after update

Unable to edit the text in the “Add watermark” field. As soon as I attempt to edit it, it deletes everything. Text does not appear on the image in the preview or after export. I have tried both black and white colour options, tried with drop shadow and without, etc. I am running macOS Sequoia 15.7.7.

    Hi All! Lightroom desktop v9.4.1 is now available for download via the Creative Cloud desktop app with the fix to this issue.

    I don’t see that same update for Lightroom Cloud (not to be confused with Lightroom Classic, but I use Cloud not Desktop). Still only showing 9.4 as latest update for Lightroom Cloud.

    Now I have it working with my name but it will not let me change the text.

    I realized that my font size is 1. I changed it to 12 and I’ve tried multiple sizes and it still doesn’t work. I almost had it with my default name but when I tried to change it, nothing happens.

    I’ve done this multiple times before but today when I try to export my photo with a text watermark, it is not showing up. I’ve tried to search for an answer but nothing. I’ve tried shutting LR down, restarting my computer and nothing. It only defaults to my name, not my @lovelouderca watermark and that doesn’t even show up on my photos. I’ve attached screenshots. Would love someone to help me understand what is happening. Thank you!

    Depuis deux jours, impossible de modifier ma signature sur Lightroom, quand j’efface la précédente, et que j’écris la nouvelle, celle-ci n’apparait pas sur la photo et quand je fais terminé, un message Error s’affiche et ferme Lightroom, merci pour vos réponses.

    Thanks, everyone, and I’m sorry for the trouble!  We are aware of the problem and are working on a fix which should be available in a few days.  I will post an update here when the fix is available.  In the meantime, using a graphical watermark, instead of a text watermark, is a workaround that should work for you.  If that doesn’t work for you, please let me know here.

    I’m using Windows 11 and am experiencing the same issues. I am unable to enter any text in the watermark field and when exiting out of the watermark window Lightroom crashes. I have rolled back to the previous version 9.3.2 so I can continue my editing until they fix the problem.
