P: Masking - Clarity Sliders have no effect after update

Hi

Ever since I updated my Lightroom mobile today (21/2/24) to version 9.2, my clarity slider for my masks stopped working. When I slide it from -100 to +100, no changes to the image can be seen. The weird thing is this only applies to the clarity slider. All the other sliders for my masks work.

Any idea on how to fix this/whats causing the issue?

Thanks!

What version number of Lightroom are you usiung on your iPad? The Clarity slider is still available in the Masking>Effects panel using the latest version 9.2.1:

Should I delete Lightroom on my iPad and then download again? I get a warning that all data will also be deleted, that would be a disaster.

I can confirm deleting the app and re-installing does fix the issue

I mean "install" - just like I wrote - not "reinstall". I did not have 9.2.1 installed on my iPad so I installed it, and the fix was verified.

The update fixed it for me. Perhaps try to do a hard shutdown of your iPad.

When you say fresh install, are you suggesting we delete the app and reinstall? How will this hinder all the installed files and edited photos? @Rikk Flohr: Photography

@Grant362716645r02

I just tested on a fresh install of 9.2.1 on iPad Pro iOS version 17.4, and it is working correctly for me.

The 9.2.1 update has still not fixed this error. I have even updated the software on my iPad in hopes that will make a difference but it hasn't. When can we expect an actual fix? This is stopping me from completing some tasks and this is a service we pay for. Thanks
