P: Masking - Clarity Sliders have no effect after update

The same thing happened to me

When I use select subject mode, I can't use clarity effect, because I try to adjust clarity -100 to +100 it's not different.

I have the same issue.

Hello, I noticed a few days ago that the clarity no longer works with a mask. I checked with a friend, he also has the same problem.
Do you have any answers?

I agree. I pay for this feature, it's what I pay for and it isn't working right now. I spoke to an adobe agent and they said they will fix it in the next update.

Well, you would think that if it was your job to program for such a large and widely used brand as Adobe, this would not only be an easy fix but done in a timely manner.  Two weeks should be plenty or get new programmers. Also, for some people who are on the road and rely on iPad and mobile apps, it kind of does make it useless. Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean you have to invalidate someone's complaint for a service they pay for. Otherwise, what are we paying for?

I asked the same thing. Customer service says no, you can't download an earlier version that has no bugs. It's bugs or nothing. 

Where is the original thread? Customer service sent me the link to THIS thread and said "there is no Lightroom thread." So...

It would be nice if ANYONE from Adobe would see how absolutely glitchy this update had been. Not even to mention how many professional photographers are pissed off that we pay a subscription for things that seem to never get a response.
