P: Problem sharing images on Instagram

Since downloading the latest version of Lightroom for iPhone, I have been unable to post photos on Instagram. I keep getting error messages. I removed both apps and reinstalled them, but they did not solve the problem. The same thing happens on my iPad. I think it's a bug in the latest version of LR.

@Sameer K @Aleke I downloaded the latest version of LR 10.5.2 this morning. Much to my disappointment, I still couldn't post images from LR to the latest version of Instagram. I haven't been able to post any photos to Instagram since late August. Others are obviously having the same problem. What is the timeline for getting this fixed?

Hey All! The team is still working on this. A fix for this workflow will arrive soon. You can still use Export As and create your Instagram post using the exported images.

Hello @Sameer K @Aleke I've updated Lightroom with the newly released update (2 days ago) and the issue persists. I haven't been able to post to Instagram for almost three weeks. Thanks for any information you can share.

Ola, não consigo compartilhar fotos e vídeos do app diretamente para Instagram ( Stories e Feed) , e no Status do Whats app, como meu perfil é Comercial, gostaria de compartilhar diretamente sem ter que ficar salvando no álbum do celular, já que esse processo atrasa e gera retrabalho ( depois ter que apagar as imagens da galeria do celular), peço que verifique essa questão.

@Aleke and @Sameer K , I have been wondering the same thing, by the way, Instagram released an update to its iPhone and iPad apps this week, but tha same problem persists in Lightroom when trying to post images to that platform. The problem began with the latest version of Lightroom.

Could you share a few more details about the issue you’re seeing? What’s the exact error message, and if possible, could you upload a screenshot of the error dialog?

Also, it’d be helpful to know what version of iOS and iPadOS you’re currently using on your devices.

I have the same issue. I no longer can post directly from Lightroom mobile to Instagram using the Share button nor Export, only if I use the dedicated Instagram button (which I never use, because Instagram horrible distorts my photos when I try to post from their site, hence my use of Lightroom). Each time I try to send a photo as a post, I get the message "Error, something went wrong". I am using an iPhone 15 updated to iOs 18.6.2 and Lightroom v 10.50. This has just happened in the last week or two. Thanks for your help as I currently cannot post at all on Instagram.
