P: Undo button toolbar isn't appearing

I just installed Lightroom CC on my new laptop and the Undo button isn't showing up at the top right as it does on my old one (it's to the left of the Share button, separated by a vertical bar). I can't find a setting anywhere to show hidden toolbars. I can undo from the Edit menu or by pressing CTRL-Z, but I prefer the toolbar button. Any idea how to display the Undo/Redo toolbar?

Nope! I can still see the arrows faintly. Sometimes they actually reappear. This is not "As-Designed" behavior. And further, why in the world would someone design this behavior into the product. This is just another super frustrating feature of Lightroom Creative Cloud. Support your product!

That's strange.. Why did I have it for months then? Literally ever since I've had Lightroom CC. Same laptop, no touch screen interface.

The Undo button is only available on touch interface devices. If your laptop does not have a touch screen, you will not see it.   Please see the official answer at the top of the thread.

Hi, did anyone have this issue resolved? My undo button has disappeared! It was always there until this week and now it's just gone?! Hope someone can help as it is quite frustrating when trying to edit. Using a laptop, no tablet attached. Thanks!

I had a laptop with a touch screen and just bought a laptop without one.  It really isn't acceptable if it depends on having a touch screen to have this valuable button.  Being able to undo and redo quickly are important.

I have a new laptop and the undo button is not there either.  I've always had it on my past laptop which does have a touch screen.  My new one does not.  It doesn't seem that that should matter as an undo button would benefit anyone on a laptop versus having to go to edit to undo a step.

This has been determined to be As-Designed behavior.

If you are not seeing these buttons, you likely don't have your multi-touch device connected,
