P: (Win) Lr8.1 Image thumbnails appear blurry in grid view after Crop in Local mode

Hi,

When I edit an image, the image is clean in details view but when I get back in grid view all images I have edited are blurry.

Lighroom ver 8.1 in Local mode

Hey, @Guy28360895gy22. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share the system information from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Does the image appear blurred for an extended period? Keeping the folder active should help with generating clear thumbnails.

You can set GPU performance in Edit > Preferences > Performance > Graphics Performance > High Performance.

Also, in Edit > Preferences > you can clear the Cache & increase the Cache size limit & check if that helps.

Images are always blurry after crops no matter how long I wait.

When I set the GPU to high performance, nothing changes. Same thing for the cache
