P: Generative Fill Button greyed out (age)

After selection is active, I cannot use the generative fill button. It's visible, but greyed out...

I already switched from german language to english without success.. Please advice. Thanks !

    Hi Meredith,

     

    thanks for this post. I see the Generative Fill button, but it is grayed out. When hovering over the button, it simply says "Generative Fill is currently not available". I just downloaded PS Beta today to try it, and I am on version "Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.6.0 20230520.m.2181 4e0245f x64".

     

    Thanks for any help and advice on how to make this work, please?

        Also here (latest beta on Windows 11), button "generative fill" is greyed out...

          Hello,
          1. An active selection is required. (Make a selection with any selection tool)>
          2. Is your image RGB-8 or RGB-16?
          3. If you click in the dimmed button, does any error appear?

          Hi

          There was an update a few minutes ago. I installed it, checked again, now the Generative Fill field is finally here, but.... it's greyed out/inactive.

           

          PS Beta Version: 24.6.0 20230520.m.2181 4e0245f

          Apple M1 / MacOS 13.3.1 Ventura

              Hi,

              My Photoshop is upto date (24.3), I've downloaded/updated Beta Apps and reset all tools - yet the new AI Remove Tool doesn't show up in my PS.  Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so is there a fix?

                The AI tool is available in the Photoshop Beta release - not 24.3. Its found under the Healing Tools section.

                  I have downloaded and opened the Beta version of Photoshop and the Remove Tool is missing from the "Brush Healing Group".    Screen save below shows this is the Beta version but the pull-out for the Healing Brush shows the Remove Tool is missing.
