P: Generative fill could not be used due to connection

turning off Windows Defender solved my problem

I've been experimenting with Photoshop beta's generative fill for a few weeks. Until recently I was able to get quite a lot done. However with recent updates to the software (certainly since ver 25.0), I'm finding that generative fill fails most of the time when asked to do anything but extend the canvas area. Typically on starting Photoshop it will work on the first occasion when I define an area within the canvas for the fill to work on. After that it runs initially as if it's processing the command, but once the progress bar reaches what should be completion it defaults back to the dialogue box with any text prompt I used, or just a blank box if I didn't use a prompt. No generative fill is added. Currently the feature is practically useless within a canvas.

I appreciate this may be a symptom of demands on server resources, and as such it could just be a temporary problem. When I used generative fill initially using earlier versions of the beta software I experienced many instances of the fill aborting due to high demand for resources. I'm no longer seeing those messages. Instead the fill simply fails to execute.

I've enabled "Cloud" under "Select Subject Processing," and "More stable" under "Selections processing." My graphics drivers are up-to-date, and Photoshop has confirmed I have GPU compatibility:

Das Problem ist seit dem Update auf 25.0 verschwunden, alles funktioniert jetzt wie es sollte.

I cant use generativ because " lost connection" but i have internet on my computer ... it work for few days after install and then it happends ...

Hi I have just started to get this message today after loading the latest Beta version. Never had a problem before. I have tried:

1. Rebooting the computer

2. Restarting the browser

3. Closing and restarting Photoshop

4. Diabling Windows Defender Firewall

NOTHING WORKS! Help!
