P: Lightroom Classic>Edit in PS: Long Delay+Erroneous Error Message opening Ps Beta 2024 25.0

After updating my PS Beta today, I found that I can no longer export files from LR Classic as NEFs to PS; it converts them to PSD files. I've checked preferences under external editing and it shows PS 2023 and 2024. I have it on 2023. Under file format it only offers PSD and TIFF. Don't know if I'm missing any other settings where this can be fixed. To be clear, I don't want the images converted. I want work on NEF files.

Acabei de atualizar recentemente o Photoshop Beta para 2024 v25.0 na minha máquina Windows 11.

Agora, quando tento abrir fotos do LR 12.4 usando o "editar em...", ele desliga por um tempo e depois aparece dizendo "O arquivo não pôde ser editado porque o Adobe Photoshop 2024 não pôde ser iniciado".

Quando eu aperto "Ok", ele abre o arquivo no Photoshop 2024.

Isso acontece com todos os arquivos, mesmo que o Photoshop 2024 já esteja funcionando no momento.

Isso não acontece com 2023 v24.7.

Same problem as the others, but for me, it just started today. Am on a desktop PC. Now Lightroom is  not even giving me the option of  Photoshop Beta in external editing, just Photoshop 2024. There is always a workaround but it is cumbersome and time consuming. Please fix this and don't make me uninstall. I'm old and just got most of my add-ons attached to my Beta after much effort. Thank you.

So use the regular release of Photoshop. Beta software is just that, BETA.
If you have client work to do, DONT USE BETA SOFTWARE.

LrC (12.4) Edit in PS2024 (24.7) fails because Photoshop could not be launched - Error Message - Only started doing this a couple of days ago. Any suggestions?  Windows laptop

Exactly the same issue here - I get the message "File could not be edited - Photoshop 2024 could not be started (Translation from German to English). But - after clicking several times to "ok" (in order to close the message window) I'm realizing that a TIFF File has been created via LR Classic and then it will be opened in Photoshop 2024. I never had this issue before.  (Lightroom Classic 12.4 / Camera Raw 15.4)
By the way I have always to open PS ("normal version or Beta) first before using "open in Photoshop.exe (or 2024)". Otherwise most tools in PS will not work properly.

I am having the same problem. I unistalled the 25 version and reinstalled an older version, which is working ok
