3. After update to 25.0 version a message appears about a critical error when starting the application and it closes

    i've just discovered if you have tab open using a different file format such as JEPG then it allows you to open Tiff files!  Both from lightroom, using 'edit in photoshop' & manually opening a Tiff from a direct location.  Really weird!  Hope this helps some people as a work around.

      Thanks for the update. The issue you ran into is different than the one that was fixed last night. We believe your issue is one that affects some Mac ARM customers; thank you for providing System info and please do submit the crash report to Adobe.

       

      The turnaround on this is likely to be similar to the last issue; 48 hours; thanks for your patience while we work through the issues with the Beta. In the meantime, production Photoshop does not have these issues.

        Olá...também estava com esse problema há alguns dias (o PS BETA) não abria! Hoje, finalmente, depois da atualização, tudo voltou a funcionar e pelo que tenho visto até agora, com muitas melhorias!

          Olá, aqui não estava aparecendo nenhuma atualização para realizar, então eu fui na aba superior da creative cloud na barra superior esquerda ao lado de Inicio, depois em ajuda>verificar atualizações e ai então depois de um tempo apareceu a atualização. atualizei e voltou a abrir e funcionar a IA. Obrigada!

            Just installed the 8/21 update and I can open the Beta from Creative Cloud.  However, when I use cmd-E to transfer a photo from Lightroom Classic, I get what is below.  Can we please get a fix for this that actually works?  I am waiting to get back to my photos until I can use all the tools, rather than leave them half done because I cannot get the photo to PS....

                Started crashing right after the latest 25.0 update. Full reinstall didn't help.

                  I updated to the most recent version and it still won't turn on with an unrecoverable message....

                      Progress update.  I have just completely uninstalled all adobe software, all setttings / application folders, every trace I can find including all preference folders.  Reinstalled creative cloud & photoshop beta.  Still wont open tiff files without crashing.  Completely weird why this works on my macbook M1 Air & not my Mac mini M2 pro!
