Just a note. after fumbling with this for 2 weeks, a poster suggested not enabling graphic processor support on the M series chips. I just unchecked the box and the flipping from LR to PS Beta is working perfectly. Might want to relay that to the powers to be regarding the Apple M series chips.

Unfortunately, the release we had planned for today that contained some more bug fixes will be delayed until early next week (targeting Monday).  Sorry for the delay; we are packing a lot of good stuff into these last two releases but it has caused some stability issues that are taking time to clear up reliably.

@Aldenhoven turning off the GPU completely disables a lot of functionality in PS. It also means there is a GPU compatibility issue. I would not recommend doing this.

The Adobe helplinesuggested disabling the graphics processor in PS Beta settings-performance ands so far this has worked well.

This is frustrating.....but I have found this workaround that is working for me....

Open PS from the dock; Use File | Open to select a raw and open it in Cam Raw then into PS; then X discard it - but leave PS running.  Now switch back to LrC and try the transfer with Edit In .... - with PS already running, I am finding this works all the time now - not a permanent solution but I can get going again.

IT DOES NOT WORK!

I have updated Photoshop Beta and Lightroom Classic. It did work sometimes for a few days but now when transfer to Edit in Photoshop Beta it just closes down Photoshop. What a shambles this is. Is Adobe forcing us to Luminar?

I had the same issue- PS Beta crashes whenever I try to edit from Lr.

Have deleted Beta and downloaded latest edition... no luck...
