Again @Sarpel Ps beta may work on the beta Mac OS but it is not tested nor suggested to use at this time.

I also have 2017 iMac Pro running Sonoma 14 and after the update to Photoshop 25.0.0, I don't have any problem working with Photoshop Beta. Is this crushing problem more related to M2 chip?

@Sarpel as @AxelMatt mentioned, Ps beta does not support other beta OS. You need to try Ps beta with Mac OS 13 or older that is supported.

@Sarpel  You use MacOS Sonoma as the operating system, which itself has not yet been officially released. This is not yet supported by Adobe programs. It is not clear whether the problem is caused by Sonoma or Photoshop.

It's not a good combination to use a beta version of a application installed on a beta version of a operating system.

@KeithCh ,

What is the Windows username on that system? Does it contain extended ASCII characters? We have a known issue that extended characters in the Documents folder path will not load. We should be releasing a fix for this in 24 to 48 hours, so if you have the option to wait for testing until then, that might be the best strategy; use the full production version until then, or, if you're more inclined, and your username DOES have an extended ascii character in there, you could login under a different user account and see if that works.

@KeithCh  I've installed the latest Beta on Windows 10 machine and it worked.

Do you have installed the latest Beta version, released on August 21st?

In a first step try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps described here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset-preferences

Please backup your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#backup-photoshop-preferences

If this doesn't help try to uninstall Photoshop Beta using the Adobe Creative Cloud Application. When asked, keep preferences! After this reinstall Photoshop Beta again.

If this doesn't help try the reinstallation with removing the preferences also.
