P: Photoshop Beta Startup Error (0xc0000142)

Please correct me if I'm off-base or wrong. My understanding is that this forum is to report bugs on the BETA version of PS to help the developers vet out issues before they are integrated into a release version. Understanding that the release version of PS must work on multiple and disparate platforms as well as different operating systems, the task of vetting bugs and fixing them must be very challenging in the least. While I'm anxious, as you all are, to try the Firefly Model 3 in the latest BETA release, I think we should be patient and let the development team iron out the issues. There is no need for anger, disparaging remarks, or calling support lines. The team knows there is a problem or problems (as Cory Shubert has acknowledged) and they are currently trying to fix it. It could be fixed tomorrow or in a month. Let's be patient. Remember, this is a BETA version. One can always work with the release version--Photoshop 25.7.

Hola. Quiero informar que, después de instalar la nueva versión de Photoshop Beta, no me permite abrir y me aparece el siguiente mensaje: "La aplicación no se pudo iniciar correctamente (0xc0000142). Haga click en Aceptar para cerrarla". Cabe aclarar que, en las versiones anteriores, Photoshop, Lightroom y Photoshop Beta, funcionaban correctamente. Gracias.

20 dias depois. Adobe ta  para o problema. hhehe.

PS Beta will not open. I get the message 0xc0000142. Have fully uninstalled/reinstalled with reboots in between everything tried.

Worked fine, then stopped working. Had work to do so have not tried Beta for a few days and can't recall if there was an upgrade that caused this, but I don't think so.

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) Click OK to close the application.....is the error message like everyone else on here is getting. The last version of Beta that works is 25.8 and have never had a problem updating until now. I've also tried calling you guys with no answer back or call back. I've been using Photoshop now since December and have loved it since. But the customer service hasn't been a pleasant experience at all. When the update first came out, that same day I messaged back and forth with an agent to only get a wait a few days and see what happens reply. Well it's been as you know well past a few days with no prevail. Please Help!

Eu custo acreditar que agora o Photoshop vai obrigar meio mundo a atulizar sua maquina que por ventura roda tudo que precisa, somente para que a atualizacao funcione. Deve haver uma forma de adaptar para que ainda funcionem. Ou uma versão que alguns recursos sejam desligados por não suportar. Mas nem abrir já acho uma grande mancada.

A mí me pasó justo lo mismo.
Por eso lo de las versiones de PC más actuales... como que no me encaja.

Y, por lo visto, echan el culo fuera y resulta que la culpa es nuetsra o de nuestras "máquinas obsoletas" (léase con ironía, claro).
