P: PS Beta 25.4 freezes immediately after start

I'm having same issues with no 3rd party apps installed or changes in keyboard layout from default English (US).
(My specs are doumented on page 1 + NVIDIA drivers now updated.)

If you don't use Punto Switcher, the freezing issue doesn't occur. However, I've been utilizing Punto Switcher alongside Photoshop and Illustrator for over 20 years. I installed Punto Switcher on this system 5 years ago, and it hasn't been updated since then. Everything worked fine until recently. The problem started occurring only in the latest versions of Photoshop and Illustrator.

Additionally, I've come across reports from other users stating that this problem persists when using other third-party applications to change the keyboard layout.

Thank you both for the updates. Have you seen this issue if you do NOT have the Punto Switcher installed? Have you reached out to them to see if they have seen/heard of this issue or any updates? Due to the fact that this is a third party software it is hard for us to know or test all possibilities with its use.

The workflow is the same as described by @Egor Chistyakov

Installed the Punto Switcher application to change the language layout of the keyboard.
In this application I have set the parameters to change the language by right Ctrl or right Shift. In both cases, using them freezes Photoshop or Illustrator.

Same happens on a similar machine, but with AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 15.9GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960

As I see it, it happens on ANY Windows 10/11 machine.

The workflow is:

1. Make sure your Windows has at least two languages installed (Russian and English in my case)

2. Find and install any app that allow you to change keyboard layout by sending a valid win32 API command (Punto Switcher in my case, there are others, widely used)

3. Configure the app to switch layout languages with a single key (right Ctrl in my case — a link to screenshot is attached)

4. Lauch Illustrator or Photoshop

5. Pick Type tool, create a type object

6. Press the chosen key to change the layout

The app freezes and goes full no responding.

ANY other app but Adobe’s work fine.

@Vik_Y and @Egor Chistyakov please share your sysinfo and any videos of your workflow when you see the freeze, we need to try to reproduce this or find some similarity with OS/hardware configurations to be able to identify the issue.

This bug is still available in Photoshop Beta. It is also present in Illustrator
