P: PS Beta 25.4 freezes immediately after start

Ps Beta 25.6..0.2534 still freezes when I toggle the layout with an external switcher. So it means Adobe broke the integration with OS, and now sending valid win32 API commands lead to failure — both Ps and Ai.

Cory, Illustrator users have the same exact problem.

Can you share some details about the fix you made so I can share these details with Illustrator team, so they get this sorted out?

Unfortunately updating to latest NVIDIA drivers didn't make a difference.

@CShubert: Sure, I have updated Photoshop Beta.
The drivers line you were citing was from @Playbak's report. My drivers were just one month old, from 2024-01-18. Today, I attempted to install the current version from the web, but ended up with the same drivers, so I guess nothing newer exists for me.

One thing I forgot to mention in the summary is that the freezing only happens with the keyboard layout set to anything else than EN-US (I tested "Czech-QWERTY" and "EN-International")

Anyway the freeze still occurs even with the updated Photoshop Beta. Here is my current system summary:

@CShubert: I am the OP, so perhaps I should clarify/summarize:

Originally I didn't know what was causing the freezing, but eventually I found out that it is caused by that external request to change the language (using common Windows WM_INPUTLANGCHANGEREQUEST message sent from a third-party app). This was working previously and works in other applications, but Photoshop since version 25.4 responds to this message by freezing. It doesn't need to be immediately after the start of Photoshop and no documents need to be opened. The "third-party app" (created by myself) just happens to send the the keyboard change message right after the start of Photoshop.

If I disable the "third-party app" Photoshop works normally. But whenever I attempt to send the problematic message, Photoshop freezes.

I can confirm the issues is still present in the latest Beta 25.6.0 20240211.m.2498 27d87a6 x64, so here is my system info:

Hi everyone, let's make sure we are all taking about the same issue so the team can investigate.... the OP was talking about Ps freezing with no CPU activity, then some files opened and it freezes.  

Then the discussion moved to keyboard language changing app.... 

So, is everyone here, using Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.6.0 20240211.m.2498 27d87a6 arm64, seeing the CPU/Freezing issue as listed, and if so, please share your sysinfo so we can try to find a pattern and reproduce here.

Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Same for me, also 25.0 I mentioned earlier has begun acting up for me again as well.

@CShubert It's important to note that all beta versions 25.0-25.3 did not cause any issues for me when they were released. Instillation of 25.4 beta created the issue, and now even after a clean install of CC (including Cloud Cleaner Tool) it affects any version of PS I install (tested 25.0 -25.5).
