P: PS Beta 25.4 freezes immediately after start

Yesterday the beta was ok, but it was updated automatically today and now after starting the PS will freeze with no CPU activity. If there were some files to be loaded - let's say I wanted to edit 3 files from Lightroom - those files are opened first and then the PS freezes. I am not sure what causes it as it doesn't respond to any input, so I cannot change any settings.

 

I am on Windows 10, 64GB RAM, NVIDIA 3080 12GB.

 

This wasn't happening in previous betas or regular versions (I can still run 25.3.1 easily).

    For the record, I updated to the newer 25.5, but I am getting the same behaviour.

    I also tried to move the "Adobe Photoshop (Beta)" folder originally in "..\AppData\Roaming\Adobe" to some other place, but it freezes too, just with a different UI configuration 🙂

      I have also noticed this:

      Right after the main window shows if I move my mouse over the menu, the menu reacts - shows rectangle around the hovered item. This lasts for a fraction of a second and then Photoshop freezes (with no document open). So it is not freezing immediately after start, just a tiny moment after that.
