P: Remove tool not working

When using the remove tool in the latest beta version of Photoshop, I end up with a black smudge mark (see attached photo). Am I the only one with this issue? Thanks

    Uninstalled 24.7, re-installed 24.6 = Same issues. Reinstalled 24.5, everything works fine now, so definitely issues with the last 2 updates

      Updated the Beta a couple of hours ago. The Remove Tool is not working or hangs, also the Beta is somehow using 98% of the Memory and freezing my PC

          Same problem here. Just checked and my photoshop is fully up to date. The Remove Tool is a problem - super slow and then I get black blobs. I can't use the Spot Healing Brush as an alternative, either, because that tool now creates a wierd texture.

            Bonjour,
            Que ce soit sur la version 24.6 ou 24.7 (Beta) l'outil supprimer ne fonctionne en aucune manière. Après l'avoir sélectionné, le pointeur n'a aucun effet et un message d'erreur me signale qu'il s'agit d'une erreur programme (???).
            Pour information, le pilote de ma carte graphique est bien à jour (dernière version disponible) et dans les paramètres j'ai sélectionné "plus stable" dans l'onglet "Outil supprimer en cours".
            Je ne sais donc pas trop quoi faire pour solutionner ce problème...

              I use the remove tool on a daily Basis, starting this morning it just started making black lines where I draw, almost like its acting like a black paint brush tool, its slower the slow but it works so well its worth the wait.

               

              worked perfectly yesterday, Ive toggled Faster/ more stable, same results, uninstalled and reinstalled twice and nothing works..

                Hi all, for those of you with this issue, please share your sysinfo so the team can look for any comminality.

                 

                Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

                  Hi !

                  This problem appeared also with the regular version of PS (non Beta) but after a few days, the beta version 24.7.0 has been corrected. It seems that something is unstable somewhere in the process because without doing anything special, the problem appears or disappers randomly... For now it works for me with both versions (I cross my fingers)
