When using the remove tool in the latest beta version of Photoshop, I end up with a black smudge mark (see attached photo). Am I the only one with this issue? Thanks
Hi all, we want to make sure for those of you seeing this issue are using the latest beta, 24.7? Please confirm for the team to move forward in their investigating.
Thanks Trevor. I just wanted to remove some of the grasses in the foreground - which I did not like. I would have thought the remove tool would be ideal for that. But instead ended up with black smudges.
Here are some further screenshots of my setting etc pre and post using the remove tool to remove the fence. I end up with some unusual results
You need to show us a full res screen shot of your workspace that includes the layers panel,. Wee need to see the Options bar and brush size, and most important of all, we need to see the original image so we have an idea of what you are trying to remove. But right off the bat I am wondering if you are using the right tool for those hills. The Remove tool would be ideal for removing the fence posts and wires in the foreground.
Generative Fill would be ideal for cleaning up the image as it is now. Content Aware Fill might have worked depending on what the original looked like. But I have difficulty thinking how the Remove tool would have worked there.
