P: UPDATE popup won't go away

Hmm, this didn't work for me. Are you using a Mac? It briefly disappears while *dragging* the menu bar but immediately reappears  in the same sport when you stop moving the window. Simply clicking on the menu bar does nothing on my end. Thanks for the reply though!

Hello,

Today I got a brownish-colored popup in PS beta saying "Time to update! It has been five weeks since this Prerelease build was released. Please install the latest build via Creative Cloud to stay up-to-date with features and fixes." It then provides a link to "See Prerelease Announcements Online" but the link simply brings me to the adobe.com landing page.

So, that's fine I'm happy updating. The problem is that according to CC everything is up to date. No matter how many times I try to check for updates, I can't find any. I've reset all of the apps, I've logged out of CC and logged back in, still nothing. Restarted the computer, basically all of the steps that you'd take to try to resolve something like this.

Now, normally I would just shrug my shoulders and close the popup and figure it was a server error and try again later. The problem is, it is impossible to close the popup. It's permanent. What's worse is that I can't even *move* it on the screen and simply work around it. I'm now just stuck unable to use Beta and unable to update.

Infuriating to say the least.
