A possible PS 27.9.1 scripting/plugin compatibility issue

I use TK9 panel for luminosity masks.  On the same M4 Mac PS 26.11.6 works correctly, PS 27.9.1 intermittently fails when I click TK9 “Save a Mask”. The error message is “The command Duplicate is not currently available.  I have already reinstalled PS, reset PS preferences, disabled Use Graphics Processor.  Could you investigate whether there is a scripting/API change or regression affecting plugin operations involving Duplicate commands or channel creation?
