Adobe is not listening

Today, I updated Photoshop. Almost every time it crashes at 50 percent, so I tried again. This time it crashed, so I re-lunched the update. It crashes again. Then it’s Creative Cloud that crashes. (It’s been a while since it worked well (loading font/asking me to do a quick tour of the app/updating without problem)

Finally, Photoshop updated, but what a surprise, my software language changed, my brush is gone, also my pattern, workspace, swatch, actions, gradient. And of course, NO possible way to re-import everything easily (because it's not the first time)

I’m tired of the lack of reliability of those Adobe software. Every week I notice something that is really poorly made.
So please ADOBE do something to correct efficiently those bugs efficiently

      Hey, ​@Souil. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll move this post to discussions. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. 

       

      First, you should always keep a backup of your customized Brush, Workspaces, Keyboard Shortcuts & any other tool presets in their respecitive formats. Double-clicking the preset files should automatically import it into Photoshop. Head here to learn more: https://adobe.ly/4860qM9

       

      When you update, the preferences are carried forward from the last available version of Photoshop on the machine. Any slightly broken links are not carried forward, and there is no way to 100% prevent it.

      Here is a recent conversation where a few crashes are directly fixed by updating the Graphics Drivers: 

       

      You can also ensure there are no stale preferences in your Photoshop; go to the location of the preference folder below and rename it to backup.

      • Windows 10/11: Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings

      • You can press Press the Windows key > Enter 'Run' > Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe

      • macOS: Hold down the Option key in the Finder when using the Go menu. The library will appear below the current user's home directory.

        Library > Preferences > Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings >

      • Rename the Adobe Photoshop folder by adding a .old at the end. (Adobe Photoshop 2026 > Rename > Adobe Photoshop 2026. old), You can restore these preferences later if needed.(https://adobe.ly/4860qM9)

      • Restart the computer.

       

      These changes will give Photoshop a fresh start as a new install. Let me know how it goes.

      welcome to ad0be, they only care to add ai features everywhere so maybe someone accidently use it, basic tilt brush doesn’t work? who cares ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lasso not working? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
