    Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the additional reports and testing. With the reports now coming from multiple people, I’ve escalated this to the Photoshop product team as a potential regression in Photoshop 27.10.

What makes this particularly important is that we can see a consistent pattern across the reports.

Dave has found related reports in the Photoshop Beta 27.11 community where the same GPU-dependent color behavior was being investigated before the 27.10 GA release.

I have found one more that might be related as well:

For anyone else seeing the same issue, please add your vote, share your System Info from PS Help > System Info, and confirm whether disabling Use Graphics Processor fixes the issue. Those details will help us determine the scope and narrow down the regression.

For color-critical work, the current reports indicate that temporarily disabling Use Graphics Processor or reverting to 27.9.1 can avoid the incorrect rendering.

I’ll update this thread as soon as I hear back from the product team.

    Best regards,

In Win11 Pro, I get shifted and oversaturated CMYK colors.

I’m 100% positive that it’s PS’a fault, since downgrading it back to v. 27.9.1 solved the problem.

Can staff please move this thread from questions to bugs.
It was already raised in the Beta forum but has made it into the release with v27.10

Yeah, this is a first for me: Photoshop color management breaks in an update. What it looks like to me is that the conversion into the monitor profile fails. With a wide gamut monitor, that means oversaturation.

I have important work to do, so I rolled back to 27.9.1. and everything works correctly now. To eliminate all potential issues, I also completely reset PS preferences and ran a new calibration/profiling. I’ll try to update again in a few days when the dust settles.

    Windows 11 Pro

Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, driver 596.36 (had a few unrelated issues with the 610 driver, so rolled back previously).

Eizo ColorEdge CG 2730, Eizo ColorNavigator 7 set to matrix/version 2 profiles.

Same here - since version 27.10, Photoshop has displayed an estimated 15% higher saturation when GPU acceleration is enabled. (screenshot shows original photo via Adobe Bridge Preview on the right and Adobe Photoshop 27.10 workspace on the left)

I see the same on my machine. After updating to 27.10 all images aree over saturated and have a reddish touch. Not only the skintones. In Photoshop in use ProPhoto as color profile

After disabling “Use Graphics Processor” the images looks ok.

I’ve try several version of Nvidia’s graphic device driver, version 610.88, 616.56 and 595.36 (all Studio versions). With all I see this issue.

I rolled back to version 27.9.1

I’m having the same issue. From PS 27.10 (even beta when it was released), when a AdobeRGB image is opened, it appears like if it was a sRGB file with an assigned/forced AdobeRGB profile. The colors appears much more saturated than before. This is not happening in 27.9 version.

When disabling “Use Graphics Processor” fixes the problem, so we are back to related issue in PS Beta 27.11
