I tried AI Assisted in photoshop and I topped up with cerdits. It worked for me for 3 days and then all of a sudden I keep getting this error message. Tried all online solutions possible (logging in and out, clear cache, disabling firewall, reinstalling photoshop. Nothing works for me.

Now I’m stuck with no refund or no where to use my credits.
Also I’m a light painting photographer, stop saying i’m violating guide lines.
I’m just trying to correct the lighting only.

How many Generative Credits do you have? i.e. do you have enough that you can afford to experiment?

Looking at the astro image first, it is 2832 X 4230 pixels so you will suffer image quality loss using Gemini 3.1 on the entire image, but you need it for the interior of the truck.

Do you have this as a RAW file? If yes, then that is absolutely where to start with an image like this.

Opening it in Camera RAW shows that the blacks are crushed up on the left, but it looks like there is plenty of detail you can win back there.

The truck windows are mostly completely blown, so there is no point in trying to fix them with Camera RAW even if you have the RAW file, but you can bring out some detail in the foreground.

I have added much more detail to the prompt. More is usually better. Say the same thing in different ways. Add redundancy. This is the prompt I used:

Fix the blown highlights in the truck windows. Add detail to the interior of the truck, and give it a warm light that appears to come from the truck's interior light above the above the central rear view mirror. Add a second light source inside the truck that appears to be situated in the centre of the truck's roof in the typical vehicle dome light position. Both interior lights to be around 4000K. Add a feint rim light to the person sitting at the back of the truck. A meteor has entered from the top right corner and is positioned slightly left of centre and one third the height of the image from the top of the image. The meteor has left a trail of sparkling light behind it. Brighten the logo on the truck's door.

This is what it gave me.

I am going to post this, but I have not finished yet.

I was not expecting it to recreate the entire image, and that is not good because it will have caused some quality loss because off the image size. So, I’ll try again, but turn off the other layers. I am going to remove the meteor from the prompt, and see if I can get it to not make the rear door invisible. And it completely stuffed it up. I get through 8000 generative credits a month, and I am still learning!

Keep the truck unchanged other than the view through the Truck windows, and the rim light to the person sitting on the back.

I am going to do it again, but this time Duplicate the square selection to a new document, and trim the transparent pixels. Same prompt as above. And it seems to have done the job. :-)

Because I used a perfectly square selection (Hold down the shift key and drag with the Marquee tool) it should fit seamlessly into the rest of the image. This is the full res image so you can click to expand. It fits perfectly, but is slightly darker.

I fixed the darker tone issue with a clipped Curves adjustment layer, and I reduced the brightness of the man’s rim light with a layer mask with Density set to 50% (which made the rim light half as bright.

Hey thanks for getting into this and I really appreciate all the help.

I do spend hours editing my astro images but when it comes to light painting, there are edits that AI could save time and give me new inspirations and that’s the reason i bought credits. I have 1200/2025 left and I’m only annoyed because there’s a problem and I can’t fix it. Also there’s no online support talking to a staff addressing the current issue.

But all and all I sincerely appreciate everything you did.

I have studied all the posts here and seems like we all have the same problem going on.
I guess I will wait.

The only information you have given us is that you have seen a ‘Violating guide lines’ error message. What prompt did you use?

What AI model?

What was the image?

Is this happening every time?

Even if you are just trying to ‘adjust the lighting’ the image you are trying to edit must fit the user guidelines. i.e. not too much exposed skin

I was working on Gemini previously but all of them don’t work now.
I work on both light painting and astrophotography and again, none of them work as well.

Yes it is happening every time now.

Occationally I get error messages “We cannot generate the image etc” which I assume I violated guidelines as mentioned “too much exposed skin”.

The prompt I used before was also working “Professionally retouch the photo and correct the lighting.”

3 days ago, all of them worked perfectly and I just can’t get around my head what is going on.

There is no way that ‘Adobe’ Generative AI will work on your pole dancer. It is the very definition of what constitutes a guideline breach. So I have used Select Subject to select the pole dancer. Copied her to a new layer and turned that layer off. Filled the outline of the pole dancer with black in the original layer.

We are in with a chance now.

I was still unable to affect a significant improvement though.
