Anyone remember when photoshop used to work as intended?

Man you guys remember the times (not that distant ago maybe 3 years?) that photoshop just used to 'work' without these amateur bugs plaguing us every single day?

Today, I cant even save my psd file as a PDF.

"Could not save a copy as _______ because of a problem writing the print file.

Good times.

Anyone know if there is a legacy option I'm not seeing like "Allow photoshop to save files" or something?

I already have "Do not append copy to the filename" checked off, so im not sure why the dialogue box is saying its "Saving a copy"
