arched text not working

arched text not working - this menu is not appearing!! not even on previously arched text although it is still arched from an old save. desperate help please

    Thanks. I think selecting the text itself is new. Previously I would just select the layer!!

    Works fine here in v25.12 and in v26

     

    1. Select the text using the Horizontal type tool

    2. Click on the warp text icon in the option bar

    3. Change the style from None to Arch
    4. Adjust the parameters as required

    5. Click the confirm icon

     

    You could try resetting the type tool or upgrade to v26.0
