[Bug] Photoshop crashes/shutdowns immediately when grouping (Ctrl+G) duplicated layers.

Hello Adobe Team, I am experiencing a critical crash issue in the recent Photoshop update. Photoshop shuts down immediately without any error message when I try to group layers. [Steps to Reproduce]

1. Select any layer (especially ones with default or localized names).

2. Duplicate the layer using 'Ctrl + J' (which automatically adds a suffix like 'copy' or localized text like '의 복사' in Korean).

3. Select both the original and duplicated layers.

4. Press 'Ctrl + G' to group them.

5. Photoshop crashes and closes instantly. [

Expected Result] The layers should be grouped into 'Group 1' normally without any performance drops. [Actual Result] Immediate application crash/shutdown. [Temporary Workaround Found] If I go to Layer Panel Options and uncheck "Add 'copy' to Copied Layers and Groups", the crash no longer occurs. This highly suggests a severe bug or memory leak related to the layer text encoding/indexing engine when handling duplicated layer suffixes. Please look into this layer auto-naming and grouping indexing crash and fix it in the next hotfix. It is severely disrupting the production workflow for non-English users. Thank you.

I’ve experienced this multiple times too on 27.11.0. The grouping of any layers can just be 2 layers, using cmd-G to group them and Photoshop hangs. I’m on english version on a Mac and experiencing this too.
