When I close Photoshop Rel 26.8.1 I get the following error "Can't write new document preset file".

I run PS as Admin.    I tried to uninstall the app and delete the PS2025 files and cache but the problem persists. What can I do.  thanks in advance.

Goodmorning, Thanks, I solved the problem. In addition to the bug reported previously, the tool icons would also disappear from time to time. I solved it by renaming the following folder to .old and restarting PS.

Window + R,     %APPDATA%\Adobe\UXP\PluginsStorage,     Rename Share 26 in .26old,  Restart Ps.

thanks in advance

Hi @marcello_4516, Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Photoshop community!

Could you please share more information, like your system configuration from (Help> System Info> Copy and paste it into a text file and attach it to your response)? Also, when did you start noticing this problem? Was it after an update to the application or the OS?

In the meantime, you can check out this reply on a similar thread from the community: https://adobe.ly/4lSHarP; see if it solves the problem.

Let us know how it goes!

Cheers!
